Safety Drill Compliance

The Safety Drill Compliance screen allows staff to track and manage drill requirements by school and school year. The screen displays a summary of overall compliance percentage, total required drills, drills completed, and drills scheduled, along with a detailed breakdown by event type showing required, scheduled, completed, and remaining drill counts, compliance status, and last drill date. Users can view the full history of completed drills for each event type. Users with edit access can add or update compliance requirements by specifying the required number of drills for a given school, event type, and school year.

Users with Edit access to the Safety Drill Compliance screen can add compliance requirements by specifying the required number of drills for a given school, event type, and school year.

1. In the Students menu, click Safety Drill Compliance.

2. Click Add Compliance.

3. Select the School. One or multiple can be selected. You can only select schools that you have access to.

4. Select the School Year for the requirement.

5. Select the Event Type.

6. Enter the Required Number of Drills.

7. Click Save.

Expand or collapse content Viewing the Safety Drill Compliance Report

1. In the Students menu, click Safety Drill Compliance.

2. Select the desired School and School Year. The school and school year at the top-right of the screen will be automatically selected.

3. Select All Schools to view the report for all schools you have access to.

The top of the report displays the Overall Compliance percentage, Total Required Drills, Drill Completed, and Drills Scheduled.

The table displays a breakdown by event type, displaying required, scheduled, completed, and remaining drill counts, compliance status, and last drill date. Refer to the legend beneath the table for the colors used for each status.

4. To edit the number of required drills, click Edit.

a. In the pop-up window, edit the Required Number of Drills.

b. Click Save.

5. To view the drill history, click View.

The Drill History pop-up window displays the Date of Drill, Time Initiated, Mode, Initiated By, and Duration of each drill.

a. Click View next to an event to open the Safety Management Dashboard for the event in a new tab.

b. Click the X to close the pop-up window when finished.
