Ed-Fi Logs

Ed-Fi Logs are available to audit the data that has been sent to the ODS. This report displays both successful and unsuccessful data transfers, and can be limited to specific resources and UUIDs as needed. From this report, you can also see the data sent with the record or the error that occurred when attempting to transfer the data.

1. In the Setup menu, click Ed-Fi Logs.

2. Select the applicable Resource(s) from the provided pull-down.

3. Enter the applicable UUID in the provided text box.

4. The Limit Results check box is selected by default. To pull all records, clear the selected check box.

5. The Errors Only check box is selected by default. To display all log records including errors, clear the selected check box.

6. Select the District Errors check box to remove duplicate errors from the report.

7. Click Load Report.

The report displays the Resource, Method, UUID, Ed-Fi UUID, Last Attempted Send Date, Last Successful Send Date, Error Code, the Error, and the Endpoint.

8. Click View Data to see the data sent and the error message, if applicable.

Review the data and the errors. Click the white X to close the pop-up window.

9. Click Resend to resend the data that failed in the original transfer.
