Monthly Enrollment by Class

The Monthly Enrollment by Class report displays monthly enrollment counts for scheduled students by section. The report can be filtered by timeframe, attendance calendar, and grade level, and includes options to calculate enrollment using either the last day of the month or the monthly average. California districts can also exclude specific program types and identify sections that exceed grade-level class size thresholds.

1. In the Attendance menu, click Monthly Enrollment by Class.

2. At the top of the screen, adjust the Report Timeframe by typing in the desired dates or clicking the calendar icons and selecting the dates.

3. Select one or multiple Attendance Calendar options to narrow the report by calendar.

4. Select one or multiple Grade Level options to narrow the report by grade level.

5. Select the Enrollment Count Method:

Last Day of Month calculates enrollment based on the number of active students scheduled in each section on the last day of each month.

Monthly Average calculates enrollment based on the average number of active students scheduled in each section across each month.

6. Click Run Report.

The report displays each section in its own row, with enrollment counts broken down by month. The report also includes the school, section name, teacher name, grade level, period, monthly enrollment counts, and report average.

For California districts, additional options are available to exclude specific program classifications, including Home & Hospital (HH), Independent Study Short Term (ISP-ST), Independent Study Long Term (ISP-LT),  Regular (REG), and Special Education (SPED).

Monthly enrollment counts that meet or exceed California class-size thresholds are highlighted in red.
