Ed-Fi Data Comparison

Updated on

The Ed-Fi Data Comparison screen is used to compare data stored in Focus with the corresponding records currently published to the Ed-Fi Operational Data Store (ODS). The comparison highlights matching data, mismatched values, records that exist only in Focus, and records that exist only in Ed-Fi, making it easier to identify synchronization issues. The tool also displays key publishing information, including the last attempted publish, last successful publish, last verification, and request method when available. For records with discrepancies, users can initiate a Sync with Ed-Fi action to republish the selected data, helping streamline validation and troubleshooting of Ed-Fi integrations.

The school year from which to pull data is set in the "Ed-Fi Data Comparison" scheduled job.
