FOCUS-58349 - Accounts Payable | Split Auto-Close PO for IA
Accounts Payable – Separate Auto-Close Settings for District and Internal Account Purchase Orders
Enhanced the Accounts Payable settings by replacing the single Auto-Close Non-Blanket POs Upon Invoice Posting option with two independent settings — one for District Purchase Orders and one for Internal Account Purchase Orders. This allows districts to manage auto-close behavior separately for each purchase order type.
- The previous single auto-close setting has been split into two distinct settings in Finance Setup → Settings.
- When the respective Auto-Close setting is enabled, the "Close Purchase Order" option appears (checked by default) on the Receive Orders, Invoice Entry, and Invoice Posting screens, and the PO is automatically closed after invoice posting and completion of the check run.
- When the setting is disabled, the Close PO option is hidden and the purchase order remains open.
- Districts using the Auto-Close Purchase Order functionality in Accounts Payable. No action is required — existing behavior is preserved. Districts that want different auto-close rules for Internal Account POs vs. District POs can now configure them independently.
See Setup > Settings > Accounts Payable > Misc Purchase Requests/Orders and Releasing Settings, Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Receive Orders > Receive Orders, Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Internal Receive Orders > Receive Orders, Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Invoices > PO Invoice, Reviewing & Posting the Invoice Batch, Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Internal Account Invoices > PO Invoice, and Reviewing & Posting the Invoice Batch for more information.
FOCUS-57417- Bus Request | Accounts Receivable Invoice Integration
Field Trip Bus Requests - Accounts Receivable Invoice Integration
Field Trip Requests in the Transportation module now support automatic Accounts Receivable (AR) invoice generation. When a field trip bus request collection is completed, an AR invoice can be automatically created based on configurable billing accounts defined at the facility level.
- Automatic AR Invoicing - Completing a bus request collection now generates an AR invoice automatically, eliminating the need to manually create invoices for field trip transportation charges.
- Billing Account Configuration - New AR Invoicing settings under Transportation > Setup > Billing allow districts to select AR products for internal and outside bus requests.
- Facility-Level AR Customer Mapping - New AR Customer columns are available in Facilities Setup and Bus Driver Billing Accounts to define which customer receives the invoice.
- Billing Percent Split Support - When a field trip has billing percent splits configured, one invoice per customer is created with correctly apportioned amounts.
- Cross-Reference Links - The Field Trip History table now displays clickable AR Invoice and AR Receipt link columns. The AR Invoices module shows a "Bus Request" info panel link back to the originating field trip.
- Duplicate Prevention - An idempotency guard ensures completing the same collection twice does not generate duplicate invoices.
- Error Handling - If a facility's AR customer mapping or AR product is not configured, the user receives a clear error message and the trip completion still proceeds.
See Transportation > Setup > Billing, Setup > Settings > Facilities, Transportation > Internal Bus Request > Complete Bus Request, Bus Request History, Transportation > Outside Bus Request > Complete Bus Request, Bus Request History, and Accounts Receivable > Invoices > Invoice History: Viewing, Printing, and Emailing Invoices for more information.
FOCUS-57355- Budgeting/General Ledger | Add Import Functionality to Campus Budget Planning
Campus/Department Budget Planning - CSV Import & Page Size Filter
The Campus/Department Budget Planning and District Budget Planning modules now support CSV import functionality, allowing users to import budget data directly into the planning tables rather than entering it manually.
- CSV Import for Campus/Department Budget Planning - Users can now import budget data (including Planned Budget amounts) directly into the Campus/Department Budget Planning table via a new Import button and CSV upload dialog.
- CSV Import for District Budget Planning Adjustments - The Adjustments table in District Budget Planning also supports CSV import, enabling bulk entry of budget adjustment records.
- Import Visibility Controls - The Import button is available when a budget record has an Outstanding or Denied status. It is hidden for Pending or Approved budgets to prevent unintended changes.
- Duplicate Detection - If an imported CSV contains duplicate accounting strips, the import is rejected with a clear error message listing the duplicates.
- Page Size Filter - A page size selector has been added to the report headers, giving users control over how many rows are displayed at a time.
See Budgeting/General Ledger > District Budget Planning > Additional Features, Budgeting/General Ledger > Campus/Department Budget Planning > Additional Features for more information.
FOCUS-56289- Approval Flow | Action History Now Available on All Approval Forms
Approval Flow | Action History Now Available on All Approval Forms
A new History table has been added to every approval workflow form across the Finance and SIS modules. Each time a request is submitted, approved, denied, sent back to the originator, or cancelled, that action is now recorded and displayed directly on the form -- providing a visible, consistent audit trail of all approval activity.
The History table shows the date/time, employee name, and action taken for each step in the approval process.
Forms affected include:
- Finance: Budget Amendment, Manual Journal, Accounts Payable Request, Accounts Receivable Receipts, Cashouts, Bids, Element Request, Position Change Request, Fixed Asset Transfer Request, Field Trip Request, Student Trip Request, Time Off, Warehouse Returns, Courier Requests, Custodial Requests, Employee Action Forms (EAF), ESS Employee Requests, and Applicant Tracking/Job Postings
- SIS: Work Order Requests and SSS Caseload Services
Notes:
- For forms without a per-request detail view (such as Asset Transfer and Time Off), history is accessed via a History button on each row, which opens a modal.
- Existing EAF approval history has been migrated to the new unified history table, so prior records are preserved.
- The underlying database table gl_approval_action_history can also be used for reporting purposes.
FOCUS-58759- Applicant Tracking | New Set Original Hire and Continuous Date(s)
Applicant Tracking - New Setting: Set Original Hire Date and Continuous Date on EAF Approval
A new setting has been added under ERP > Human Resources > Job Posting Setup > Miscellaneous called "Set Original Hire Date and Continuous Date to the Approval Date on EAF Approve."
When enabled, the system defers assigning an employee's Original Hire Date and Continuous Employment Date from the offer-acceptance date to the actual EAF final-approval date for Add Position and Hire User requests. Key behaviors with the setting turned on:
- While a request is pending approval, the hire-date fields are locked and display the current date as a preview.
- Once the last approver signs off, the system stamps both dates with the real approval date.
- Portal applicants who accept an offer receive an EIN immediately but will not have hire dates set until the associated EAF is approved.
- Change Position EAFs are not affected -- the Original Hire Date remains editable for those requests.
When the setting is off (the default), all existing behavior is preserved.
See HR > Job Posting Setup > Miscellaneous, Human Resources > Employee Action Form > Requesting an Employee Change > Add a Position Request, and Hire Existing User Request for more information.
FOCUS-58463- Employee Request | Leave Request Backdating Limit Setting
A new setting, "Leave: Backdating (number of work days)", has been added under Setup > Settings > ESS > Employee Requests. This allows districts to control how far back employees can backdate a leave request.
- The limit counts back by working days (skipping weekends, holidays, and closures based on the staff job's payroll calendar).
- If an employee submits a leave request that starts before the allowed window, it is rejected with the message: "Leave dates exceed the permitted backdating period. Please contact Payroll."
- Enter 0 to block all backdating (leave must start today or later). Leave the field blank to apply no restriction.
- This setting applies only to standard Leave requests -- Extended Leave and Cancel Leave are not affected.
See Setup > Settings > Employee Self Service for more information.
FOCUS-55301- School/Department Payroll | Timekeeper/Manager Mode
A new "Timekeeper/Manager" checkbox has been added to the School/Department Payroll page. When enabled, timekeepers and managers can enter payroll data for employees assigned to them through timekeeper/manager relationships, without requiring direct facility access.
All payroll tabs -- Timecard, Overtime, Leave, Misc Pay, and Assign Run -- load employees based on the user's timekeeper/manager assignments instead of a selected facility. Employee eligibility rules still apply: only hourly employees appear on the Timecard tab, overtime-exempt employees are excluded from Overtime, and leave eligibility follows standard rules.
See School/Department Payroll Entry for more information.
FOCUS-59379- ESS | Travel Authorization & Reimbursement Enhancements
Future-Start Employee Support
Travel Authorization and Travel Reimbursement requests now support employees with future-dated positions. The system correctly determines the employee's primary facility regardless of position start date, and the facility dropdown only displays active center elements.
New Budget Check Option - "Never"
A new "Never" option has been added to the Travel Reimbursement budget check setting in Setup > Settings > ESS. Districts can now choose from:
- On submit & On approve - enforces budget check at both stages
- On approve - only checks budget when the request is approved
- Never - skips budget validation entirely for travel reimbursements
This gives districts more flexibility in how they manage budget enforcement for travel requests.
See Setup > Settings > Employee Self Service > Travel Reimbursement for more information.
FOCUS-54750- Payroll | Pay Supplements on Non-Consecutive Payroll Runs
Added a new Run Schedule option in Payroll > Maintenance by Fiscal Year > Slots/Steps that allows districts to specify which payroll runs a supplement should be paid on. This is especially useful for supplements that need to be paid on two or more non-consecutive pay runs rather than every run in the schedule.
Key details:
- A new Run Schedule column appears on slots that have a supplement assigned, allowing selection of specific pay schedules.
- When a run schedule is configured, the supplement will only be included in the selected payroll runs and will be excluded from all others.
- Supplements with no run schedule configured (null or empty) will continue to pay on all applicable runs as they do today -- no action is required for existing setups.
- Districts can still add a payroll adjustment to force a supplement payment on a run that is outside the configured schedule.
See Maintenance by Fiscal Year > Slots/Steps for more details.
FOCUS-59235- Time & Attendance | Rename attestation submit button
ESS Timecard Attestation: Updated "Acknowledge & Confirm" Button Label
We have updated the button wording on the Employee Self Service (ESS) timecard attestation screen to make the user action clearer for employees.
- The Update: The action button on the View/Edit Timecards attestation modal has been renamed from "Submit" to "Acknowledge & Confirm".
- Why it Matters: The previous "Submit" label caused confusion for staff who felt it sounded like submitting a new form rather than verifying the timecard entries displayed.
- The Result: The new wording clearly conveys that the employee is verifying and signing off on their hours, improving confidence and reducing support calls regarding timecard sign-offs.
See ESS > View/Edit Time Cards > Viewing Timecards for more information.
FOCUS-58410- HR | New option to automatically create EAF form titles
A new option has been added to automatically generate Employee Action Form (EAF) titles using a dropdown-based employee selection, replacing the manual text entry workflow.
New Setting: "Enables a Drop-down for Employee Action Form Creation"
- Located at ERP > Setup > Settings > Miscellaneous > Misc
- Disabled by default, preserving the existing open text field behavior
When Enabled:
- The Name field on the EAF Drafts screen converts from a free-text field to a searchable dropdown of employees
- Selecting an employee automatically generates the title in the format: Employee Name : EIN - Type of Employee Action Form
- The Employee field is auto-populated based on the dropdown selection with in the form itself, reducing manual data entry
See Setup > Settings > Miscellaneous > Misc and HR > Employee Action Form > Requesting an Employee Change for more information.
FOCUS-59424- System Preferences: New "Show Applicants in Exact/Partial Matches on Add a Student" Option
A new system preference, "Show Applicants in Exact/Partial Matches on Add a Student," is now available under Setup > Preferences > Default School Preferences > Enrollment. When enabled, students who have submitted online applications will appear alongside regular students in the exact and partial match results on the Add a Student screen. This preference defaults to off, leaving existing search behavior unchanged if not configured.
See System Preferences > Enrollment tab for more details.
FOCUS-59384- School Report: New Blank Option on Minimum & Maximum Year
The Minimum Year and Maximum Year filters on the School Report page now include a blank option, allowing these fields to be left unselected when configuring report criteria.
FOCUS-59367- Re-Enrollment for Previously Withdrawn Students
Parents can now start and continue online enrollment applications for students who were withdrawn in a previous school year when a re-enrollment application is available. The application can be accessed and completed without unnecessary permission-related interruptions.
FOCUS-59317- Parent/Student Portal: Force Default School Year Upon Login
Parents and students are now automatically directed to the district's default school year each time they log in to the portal. After logging in, users can still switch to a different school year, and existing functionality for working in multiple browser tabs with different school years remains unchanged.
FOCUS-59268- Add a User: Unable to Continue Due to SIS Profiles Validation Error
Improves the Add a User workflow by allowing users to be created even when no SIS Profiles are assigned.
If a user is created without an SIS profile, the system now displays a warning instead of preventing the record from being saved. This allows administrators to complete user creation while still notifying them that an SIS profile has not been assigned.
FOCUS-59233- Communication: Quicker Mark Messages Read for Staff
Enhances Staff Communication by improving how messages are automatically marked as read.
Messages are now marked as read more efficiently after they have been viewed, reducing unnecessary server requests while ensuring unread message indicators are updated promptly as staff members read through conversations.
FOCUS-59214- Users: Add the Suffix to User Name Display
Enhances user name displays by including name suffixes, such as Jr. or III, in additional areas of the system.
User name suffixes are now displayed in User Search, the Master Schedule Report, and the Attendance and Grades Teacher Completion reports. This helps distinguish users with similar names and improves identification throughout these areas.
FOCUS-59212- Cannot Delete a Duplicated Enrollment Validation
Improves Student Enrollment by allowing duplicate enrollment records to be deleted when appropriate, even if enrollment deletion restrictions are enabled.
When the Do Not Allow Enrollment Deletion When a Schedule Exists system preference is enabled, users can now delete duplicate enrollment records without being incorrectly blocked by schedule validation. This ensures valid duplicate records can be removed while preserving existing protections against deleting active enrollment records associated with student schedules.
FOCUS-59189- User Preferences: Adds 'Logo links to Home Page'
Enhances User Preferences by adding a Logo Links to Home Page option that controls where the Focus logo directs users.
When enabled, clicking the Focus logo navigates users to the page selected in their Home Page preference. When disabled, the logo continues to open the default Portal page. This preference also applies when using Log In As, returning users to their configured home page when switching into or out of another user's account.
See System Preferences > Default User Preferences, My Preferences (Admin), Preferences (Teachers), and Preferences (Parents/Students) for more information.
FOCUS-59168- Forms File Uploader Tooltip Enhancement
Enhances the File Uploader in Forms by adding additional upload details to file tooltips.
When hovering over an uploaded file, users can now view the name of the user who uploaded the file along with the upload date and time.
See Forms for more information.
FOCUS-59149- Runquery shortcut ctrl + end windows fix, run button on panes
Enhances Run Query by adding a Run This Pane button for individual query panes.
When multiple query panes are open, users can now execute a single pane without running the queries in the other panes. The existing Run button continues to execute all queries in the current tab, providing greater flexibility when working with multiple queries simultaneously. Additionally, keyboard shortcut support has been improved for Windows users.
See Run Query for more information.
FOCUS-59131- Student Summary: Attendance Cards not Matching Absence Summary Data
Improves the Student Summary page by aligning the attendance cards with the Attendance Summary totals.
The attendance cards now display totals for the entire school year, matching the Attendance Summary shown on the page. This provides a more consistent view of student attendance while preserving the existing reporting timeframes on the Absences screen.
See Student Summary (Admin), Student Summary (Teacher), and Child Summary / My Summary (Parent/Student) for more information.
FOCUS-59114- Attendance: New Attendance Category on Administration (California)
Enhances Attendance for California by adding an Attendance Category column to the Attendance > Administration page.
The new column automatically identifies each student's attendance category based on their active program participation, including Regular Attendance, Home Hospital, Independent Study (Long Term), Independent Study (Short Term), and Special Education. The displayed category updates according to the effective dates of the student's program records, providing additional context for attendance administration.
See Administration (Admin), Attendance Chart (Admin), and Absence Summary (Admin) for more information.
FOCUS-59109- Hall Pass: Early Release Updates
Enhances the Hall Pass module by updating the duration of automatically generated hall passes for approved Parent Absence Request early releases.
When an early release hall pass is automatically created, its duration is now based on the Attendance Pass Limit configured in Hall Pass Setup > Settings rather than the Pass Length and Travel Time configured for the destination location. This provides more consistent timing for automated early release hall passes while preserving the existing automatic pass creation workflow.
See Hall Pass Setup > Setting the Attendance Pass Limit for more information.
FOCUS-59108- Run Scheduler: Overfill Percentage Field Editable when Override Seat Counts is Unchecked
Run Scheduler Overfill Percentage Improves the Run Scheduler interface by displaying the Overfill Percentage field only when Override Seat Counts is enabled.
When Override Seat Counts is not selected, the Overfill Percentage field is hidden and any previously entered value is cleared. This provides a clearer scheduling workflow by ensuring the overfill setting is available only when it applies.
See Run Scheduler for more information.
FOCUS-59086- Test History: Restrict Edit Access Per Score Type via "Allow profiles to modify"
Enhances Test History by adding profile-based edit permissions for individual Score Types.
Administrators can now specify which profiles are allowed to modify each score type in Assessment > Standardized Tests > Setup Score Types. When no profiles are selected, existing behavior is preserved and any user with permission to edit Test History can modify the score type. This provides more granular control over sensitive assessment fields while allowing other score types to remain editable.
See Standardized Tests > Setting Up Score Types for more details.
FOCUS-59003- School Choice: Add Text Filter to Customize Application Preferences Table
Enhances School Choice Setup by adding a real-time search filter to the Customize Application Preferences page.
Administrators can now quickly locate application preferences by typing keywords into a search field, making it easier to manage large preference lists for Choice, Magnet, and SPA applications. Matching preferences are filtered automatically as text is entered, improving navigation and configuration efficiency.
See School Choice Setup > Setting Preferences for more information.
FOCUS-58979- Tennessee Ed-Fi Identity Integration
Updated the Ed-Fi Identity integration for Tennessee to support the state's identity service requirements. This enhancement aligns identity data with Tennessee-specific formats and mappings, including student identifiers and gender values, while excluding parent records from the identity sync. This update applies to Tennessee districts only.
FOCUS-58907- Applicant Registration Student Attachment Option
The Parent Registration preference for removing the ability to attach to existing students has been expanded to provide additional configuration options. Districts can now choose to allow parents to attach to existing students while preventing applicant users from doing so, or continue to disable the option for all users. Existing configurations continue to behave as before.
See System Preferences > Parent Registration, New Application Editor and Online Enrollments for Students, and New Application Editor and Online Applications for Users for more information.
FOCUS-58906- Ed-Fi: Add TN Student Characteristics
Enhances the Ed-Fi integration for Tennessee by expanding support for additional student characteristic reporting.
The Student Education Organization Association extract now includes Tennessee-specific student characteristics for supported programs and services, including program participation, early childhood programs, military affiliation, Medicaid status, residential placement, housing status, and Section 504 plans. This enhancement helps ensure these data elements are included in Ed-Fi submissions for Tennessee districts.
FOCUS-58892- Imports: FL Statewide Assessments - Import Asset Updates
Updates Imports for Florida by adding support for the Spring/Summer 2026 statewide assessment file formats.
New import templates and file parsers have been added for B.E.S.T., B.E.S.T. Writing, Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST), and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGS) assessments. As part of this update, outdated 2024 import parsers have been deactivated and legacy 2021 Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) parsers have been retired, ensuring districts use the current Florida assessment import formats.
See Imports > Existing Templates and Existing File Parsers for more details.
FOCUS-58875- District Reports: Add Saved Student/User Groups as Variable Filter Type
Enhances District Reports by adding Student Group and User Group variable types for report filtering.
Report authors can now configure District Reports to filter results using saved Student Groups or User Groups, including dynamic groups. When a report is run, users simply select the desired group to limit the report results, eliminating the need to manually export and maintain lists of student or user IDs.
See District Reports for additional information.
FOCUS-58828- Hall Pass Notification from Seating Chart Attendance
Enhances the Teacher Seating Chart by displaying the same Hall Pass indicator and tooltip available in the Take Attendance list view.
Teachers can now quickly identify students with current, requested, upcoming, or expired hall passes directly from the Seating Chart, with tooltips providing additional pass information. When the Auto End Hall Pass system preference is enabled, taking attendance from the Seating Chart continues to end active hall passes as expected automatically.
See Hall Passes (Teacher) and Seating Charts (Teacher) for more information.
FOCUS-58714- NCAA GPA: Creates New NCAA GPA (Washington)
Adds support for calculating and displaying a dedicated NCAA GPA for Washington customers based on courses designated as NCAA-eligible.
When the Enable NCAA GPA system preference is enabled, students with NCAA-eligible courses will have an NCAA GPA calculated and displayed separately from their standard GPA. This provides Washington schools with a dedicated GPA for tracking NCAA academic eligibility while preserving existing GPA calculations.
See System Preferences > Grading tab, Scheduled Jobs > Washington Jobs, Course Catalog, and Final Grades, GPA, & Class Rank > Detailed Report for more information.
FOCUS-58684- Late Check-In Attendance Summary
Improves the Late Check-Ins card on the Attendance Summary by counting only students who were actually late.
Previously, the card included all kiosk check-ins, regardless of whether the student arrived on time or late. The Late Check-Ins summary now counts only kiosk check-ins associated with a recorded tardy, providing a more accurate view of late arrivals.
FOCUS-58670- Take Attendance: New Custom Confirm Message System Preference
Adds a new Attendance system preference that allows districts to configure a custom confirmation message displayed to teachers before attendance is saved.
When a confirmation message is configured, teachers are prompted to review the custom message before saving attendance in both Take Attendance and Seating Chart. This provides districts with a way to display important reminders or certification statements as part of the attendance submission process.
If the preference is left blank, no confirmation message is displayed and attendance continues to save using the existing workflow.
FOCUS-58660- Communication: Printing Option to 'Display this Teacher on Each Letter'
Enhances the Print Options available when generating letters from Communication by adding an option to display the selected teacher's name on each printed letter.
When communications are sorted by a class period, users can select Display this Teacher on Each Letter to include the corresponding teacher's name as a header on every generated letter. If Include Student's or User's Name/ID on Each PDF Page is also selected, the student or user name appears first, followed by the teacher name. If a student does not have an assigned teacher for the selected period, the letter displays Unassigned. This option is available only when a period is selected in the Sort By menu.
See Communication (Admin) > Printing & Previewing Messages, Communication (Teachers) > Printing & Previewing Messages, and Communication (Parents/Students) > Composing Messages for additional information.
FOCUS-58512- SSO: Adds Icon Upload Field
Enhances Single Sign-On by allowing districts to upload custom icons for individual SSO providers. A new optional Icon Upload field has been added to each supported SSO profile in Setup > Single Sign-On, enabling districts to replace the default key icon displayed on the login page with a custom image.
Uploaded icons appear alongside the corresponding SSO login button, allowing districts to better brand or differentiate their authentication providers. Google and Apple authentication profiles continue to display their standard provider icons and do not include the custom icon upload option, preserving their existing appearance and behavior.
See Single Sign-On for more information.
FOCUS-58208- Scheduled Jobs: California NSLP Program Status Automation
Adds a new California NSLP Program Status Automation scheduled job that automates the creation and maintenance of student NSLP eligibility records based on Online Registration household income information and Direct Certification data.
The scheduled job creates and updates Eligibility-Alternative Income Form and NSLP Status records, updates students' active NSLP status, preserves historical school-year records, prevents duplicate entries, and prioritizes Direct Certification when applicable. This feature is available for California customers only.
See Scheduled Jobs > California Scheduled Jobs for more details.
FOCUS-57842- School Choice Setup: New Capacity Only Permissions
Enhances School Choice Setup by adding a Programs: Edit Capacity permission that allows administrators to grant users access to update program capacity without providing full edit access to School Choice programs.
Users with this permission can modify capacity-related values while all other program settings remain view-only. This provides more granular control over School Choice administration while simplifying profile permission management.
See Profiles for more information.
FOCUS-59397- Online Application: New System Preference to Customize Zoned School Message
A new Custom Zoned School Missing Message system preference has been added under Setup > System Preferences > Default School Preferences > Enrollment. When geographical enrollment is enabled, districts can use this preference to customize the message displayed in Online Applications when an applicant enters an address that is not found in the Address Catalog and no zoned school can be determined. If left blank, the standard system message is displayed.
See System Preferences > Enrollment for more information.
FOCUS-59070- Online Enrollment Withdrawal Codes
Improves New Online Applications by restoring available withdrawal code options when processing enrollment applications for students with an existing enrollment.
When processing an application for a student already enrolled at another school, the Withdrawal Code dropdown now displays the appropriate options, allowing the enrollment process to be completed successfully while preserving the existing workflow for new applicants.
FOCUS-59367- Re-Enrollment for Previously Withdrawn Students
Parents can now start and continue online enrollment applications for students who were withdrawn in a previous school year when a re-enrollment application is available. The application can be accessed and completed without unnecessary permission-related interruptions.
FOCUS-59363- Online Enrollment Student Navigation
Improves New Online Applications by updating student links on the Processed and Pending Enrollments tabs to open the student's record in the correct school.
When selecting a student's name, the system now navigates to the student's current enrolled school whenever possible, instead of defaulting to the applicant school. This provides more reliable access to Student Info for students who have already been enrolled at another school.
FOCUS-59283- Application Forms: Expiration Date Updates
Application Forms now distinguish between form configuration deadlines and individual application requests. Expired application requests are clearly identified with an Expired status, while non-annual application requests are no longer tied to changes made to the form's expiration date after they have been created. Annual application forms continue to use their configured expiration dates.
FOCUS-59269- Cancelled Applications Not Appearing on Cancelled Tab When Cancelled by Parent
Parent-Cancelled Applications in Online Enrollments
Applications cancelled by a parent now appear on the Cancelled tab in Online Enrollments. Previously, only applications cancelled by an administrator displayed on this tab; parent-initiated cancellations were not reflected there.
FOCUS-59252- Student Name Link Redirect Improvement
Improves New Online Applications by directing users to a student's active enrollment when opening Student Info from the Online Enrollments list.
When selecting a student's name from the Online Enrollments page, the system now opens the student's record using their most recent active enrollment instead of attempting to use the applicant school. This provides more consistent navigation for students who are already enrolled at another school.
FOCUS-59011- Online App Unfiltered Status Labels
Improves New Online Applications by ensuring status labels displayed in the Unprocessed Applications list respect user profile permissions.
Users without permission to view all status labels now see only the labels assigned to their profile, helping prevent unauthorized status changes while simplifying the status label selection list. Users with the View All Status Labels permission continue to have access to all available status labels.
See New Application Editor and Online Enrollments for Students and New Application Editor and Online Applications for Users for more information.
FOCUS-59245- SSS: Make Responsible Implementers on Goal Builder View Required
Enhances the SSS IEP 2.0 Goal Builder by making the Responsible Implementers field required when creating or editing IEP goals.
Users must now select one or more responsible implementers before the Goals & Objectives step can be saved, helping ensure each IEP goal is assigned to the appropriate staff members. A required field indicator has also been added to clearly identify this requirement.
See IEP 2.0 and Amended IEP 2.0 > IEP Goals & Objectives for more information.
FOCUS-59185- SSS: Remove 'Allow Deletion of events even if they have user data'
Simplifies SSS event permissions by removing the separate Event Deletion Override permission.
Users with permission to delete SSS events can now delete events that contain data without requiring an additional override permission. Before an event is removed, a confirmation message warns that the event data will be permanently deleted, helping prevent accidental data loss.
FOCUS-58795- SSS: Add "Student Field" to Event Reporting
Enhances SSS Event Reporting by adding support for Student Field custom fields in detailed event reports.
Student Fields configured within SSS custom screens can now be selected and included in detailed event reports alongside other SSS fields. This provides more comprehensive reporting by allowing student data linked through SSS custom screens to be viewed and exported as part of SSS event reporting.
FOCUS-56851- SSS ESE Evaluations Improve Load/ Export in Document Management System
Enhances Document Management by including files uploaded to SSS Events alongside associated SSS forms.
Users can now view uploaded SSS event documents directly from the SSS Events section of Document Management, where they appear as additional pages following the SSS form. These uploaded files are also included when exporting SSS event documents to PDF or ZIP, providing a more complete record of event documentation.
See Uploaded Files > Viewing a Student's Uploaded Files for more information.
FOCUS-55789- SSS: Allow Field Values to be Displayed on Manage Student Table & Supplemental Step Table
Enhances the SSS module by allowing selected custom field values to be displayed in the ESE Supplements list and the student's event list.
Administrators can configure specific fields to appear as summary information using sequence parameters, making it easier to identify and distinguish supplement forms and events without opening each record. This improvement provides greater visibility into key SSS data while streamlining navigation throughout the SSS event workflow.
See Setup > Setting Up Sequences for more information.
FOCUS-58102- Public Course Catalog Translation Enhancement
Enhances the Public Course Catalog by adding multilingual support and improving navigation across desktop and mobile devices.
Users can now select their preferred language to view the catalog, with all visible catalog text supporting translations. To streamline the desktop experience, the Search tab has been removed while remaining accessible on mobile devices, preserving the existing search functionality across all supported platforms.
See Parent/Student > Public Course Catalog for more information.
