The system will use these scaled values to ensure accurate imputed income tax calculations for older staff members.

Previously, users with the "View All Offers" profile permission could see applicant offers from every facility across the organization, regardless of their specific account strip restrictions.

• The system now cross-references Profile Permissions with Account Strip Permissions.
• Users will only see offers for applicants associated with the facilities they are authorized to access.
• Data privacy is strengthened by ensuring users cannot view sensitive offer information for unauthorized locations.

System enhancement to Human Resources > View ESS > View Paystubs and PayHistory adding additional information to the sub paraprofessional employees paystub.

1. Added new row for each date worked with date, location, notes, and hours worked columns.

2. One new "Total Hours @ XXXX SCHOOL NAME" row for each facility added to the table with the total hours worked at that facility added to the Hours Worked column.

3. Update the "Total Hours @ All Facilities" row to include the hours added by the new rows.

FOCUS-54243- OneRoster - /enrollments - Send active if schedule.end_date = mp.end_date

This update improves how enrollment status is reported through the OneRoster API by ensuring enrollments that end exactly on a class's marking period end date are still treated as active. This prevents auto-ended schedules at the end of a marking period from being incorrectly reported as inactive, maintaining more accurate enrollment data for OneRoster consumers.

FOCUS-54226- School Choice: Add Status ID column to the School Choice Report

This update enhances the School Choice Report export by adding the school choice application status ID as the final column. Including this identifier allows districts to accurately reference and update specific application records during post-processing, reducing the risk of modifying the wrong records while preserving existing report behavior. This new column will not be visible until profile permissions are granted to maintain existing functionality.

FOCUS-54221- Recalculate Minutes Performance & School Isolation Improvement

This update improves the Recalculate Minutes process by allowing large date-range recalculations to complete successfully without timing out. Recalculations are now limited to the selected school, preventing attendance minutes and ADA hours from being cleared or impacted for other schools in the district.

FOCUS-54209- Student Schedule Print Option Update

This update removes the legacy schedule print option and standardizes schedule printing to use the DataTable print button. As a result, schedules are printed individually using the supported print method, and the previous ability to print multiple schedules at once for dual-enrolled students is no longer available.

FOCUS-54199- School Choice: Adjust Priority Calculator Query for Siblings Anchor Priority

This update improves School Choice sibling priority processing by removing the requirement that siblings share the same choice rank to qualify for sibling anchor priorities. Sibling Anchor School, Sibling Anchor Program, and Sibling Anchor priorities are now applied correctly based on sibling relationships alone, while existing sibling guarantee and linked sibling priorities continue to function as expected.

FOCUS-54172- Attendance Notes Portal Alerts for Secondary Schools

This update improves pending attendance note portal alerts by correctly supporting secondary school enrollments. Attendance notes are now displayed when viewing a student's secondary school, while still limiting results to notes tied to the currently selected school. This ensures office staff can review and process attendance notes accurately for both primary and secondary school contexts.

FOCUS-54169- Communication: Ensure Unread Messages Are Readable

This update improves Communication notifications by preventing unread message alerts from appearing when the message is not viewable by the recipient. Messages that no longer have an associated delivery record will no longer generate portal or inbox unread indicators, eliminating "phantom" unread notifications where no message can be opened. Polls and signups remain unaffected since they do not rely on delivery records.

FOCUS-54154- Add a Student: Remove Negative ID Student with Inactive Enrollment in Search

This update improves the Add a Student workflow by preventing inactive applicant records with negative student IDs from appearing as selectable matches. Students with negative IDs will now only display if they have an active enrollment, reducing duplicate selections and ensuring cleaner, more accurate enrollment matching.

FOCUS-54151- Copy School: Attendance Categories Now Included

This update improves the Copy School process by ensuring that Attendance Categories are copied along with Attendance Codes. When copying attendance setup to a new school, categories are now properly transferred and linked, maintaining the original structure and eliminating the need for manual reconfiguration.

FOCUS-54150- Conduct Header Display Improvement on Standard Grade Report Cards

This update corrects the display of the Conduct section header on Standard Grade Report Cards. When conduct comments and grades are enabled, the report card now properly displays both the Grade and Conduct subheaders, ensuring the conduct information is clearly labeled and presented as intended.

FOCUS-54120- IPEDS Report Cohort Year Evaluation Correction

This update improves the IPEDS report by correcting how students are evaluated for inclusion based on year criteria. The report now uses the student's Cohort Year.

FOCUS-54118- Grad Req. Report: Resolve Spanish Literature & Culture for Biliteracy Seal (Florida)

This update improves the Graduation Requirements Report for Florida by ensuring additional nationally recognized assessment parts are correctly evaluated for Biliteracy Seal requirements. Test results associated with the previously missing APT SB part are now properly recognized, allowing eligible students' qualifying scores to display and apply as expected in both Gold and Silver Biliteracy criteria.

FOCUS-54114- Add an Effective Date option on Teacher Schedule Report

This update adds an effective date to the Teacher Schedules Report to ensure enrollment counts accurately reflect students scheduled as of a specific date. Enrollment totals now default to the current date and correctly exclude students with future enrollment dates, with counts updating dynamically when the effective date is adjusted.

FOCUS-54094- Advanced Report: Change Bullet to Red X in New Advanced Reports Field Selection Layout

This update improves usability in Advanced Reports by replacing the bullet-style category deselect icon with a clearer remove icon. FOCUS-54091- Average Daily Attendance: Remove Percent Present for Missouri

This update removes the Percent Present column from the Average Daily Attendance report for Missouri districts. The column had reappeared in newer versions after prior ADA updates and could display confusing values, so it is now hidden again for Missouri sites only. ADA reporting for non-Missouri districts is unchanged.

FOCUS-54088- Attendance Thresholds Letter Queue & Enrollment Filtering

This update enhances Attendance Thresholds by adding a new Letter Queue option, allowing thresholds to place letters into the letter queue instead of sending communications when a template is selected. Execution history output has also been improved to display communication results in a clear, table-based format for easier review. In addition, threshold logic now only evaluates attendance for actively enrolled and scheduled students, ensuring alerts and letters are generated only for students who are currently eligible.

FOCUS-54085- Scheduling: Schedule Duplicate Credit Warning Improvement

This update improves schedule validation by alerting users when attempting to add a course that a student has already completed with a passing grade and earned credit. A warning now displays before the course is added, helping prevent duplicate credits while still allowing schedulers to make an informed decision.

FOCUS-54062- New Online App: Prevent Duplicate Student Registrations

This update improves the New Online Application by adding safeguards to prevent duplicate student records during registration. Two new system preferences are introduced: Prevent Duplicate Students, which blocks new registrations when a matching first name, last name, and birthdate already exist, and Duplicate Override Code, which allows districts to define a code that can be used to bypass the duplicate check when appropriate. The student registration entry page has also been updated to more clearly distinguish between adding an existing child and applying for enrollment, helping parents take the correct action and reducing accidental duplicates.

FOCUS-54056- Communication: Resolve Large Student Group Announcement Error

This update improves the Communication Platform by allowing announcements to be sent to very large student groups without error. The underlying recipient selection logic has been updated to handle large recipient lists more efficiently, preventing failures when posting announcements to groups with a high number of students.

FOCUS-54043- Form Builder: Form Return to Originator Processing Improved

This update resolves an issue where forms could not be returned to the originator when no reason was entered in the return prompt. Selecting Return to Originator now processes correctly whether the reason field is left blank, confirmed, or canceled, ensuring forms are reliably routed back and associated alerts continue to function as expected.

FOCUS-54041- Search: Teacher Letter Grade Search Enhancements

This update enhances the Letter Grade search widget for teachers by adding an option to limit results to grades they personally assigned. A new "By Me" option allows teachers to easily narrow searches to their own sections, improving usability when working with large course lists and supporting more efficient grade-based searches and communications.

This update adds new Email Address and Phone Number field types to custom fields across Focus. These fields automatically validate and format values to ensure proper email structure and phone number digit requirements, including formatting phone numbers on save. Validation is enforced for entered values as well as default and fallback values, helping improve data accuracy and consistency system-wide.

When searching by either the applicant ID or the current student ID, the audit trail now displays a complete history of changes made before and after enrollment, providing a consistent and accurate record of student activity.

FOCUS-54019- EWS Report Honors Recover Course Flags (Florida)

This update improves the Florida Early Warning System report by correctly accounting for recovery courses when evaluating course failures. Students with a prior failing course that has been successfully recovered through a passing course flagged for recovery are no longer incorrectly identified as failing on the report.

FOCUS-53981- School Choice: Report Verification & Layout Enhancements

This update improves the School Choice Report by making the report clearer, more flexible, and easier to review. Report tabs now display the Custom Application Title when configured, helping users quickly identify the correct application and year. Verification columns have been reorganized so each "Verify" column appears directly next to its submitted value, and an optional new setting allows verification to use a three-state review process (Yes, No, or Clear), providing clearer distinction between pending, approved, and declined reviews.

FOCUS-53957- Transcript Test History Sorting Enhancements

This update adds a new option to sort Test History on transcripts by administration date, allowing districts to display the most recent test results first. When enabled, tests are shown in reverse chronological order, with tests taken on the same date listed alphabetically; when disabled, the display remains alphabetical by test and part title. To improve readability, test parts labeled as "Overall" are now visually emphasized on transcripts.

This update improves automatic translation coverage in the Parent Portal by ensuring conference request alerts and related tooltips are fully translated based on the parent's language preferences. FOCUS-53905- Teams: Remove Actions without Edit Permissions

This update improves permission enforcement on the Teams page by ensuring administrative actions are only available to users with Edit access. Users with view-only permissions will no longer see buttons such as Create Co-teachers by Team or Randomly Assign Teams.

FOCUS-53826- Scheduled Imports Display Correct Completion Record Counts

This update improves the accuracy of completion emails for Scheduled Imports. The record count shown in the completion email now correctly reflects the number of records processed in the most recent run, matching the job log and imported data, even when the same scheduled import is run multiple times with different files.

FOCUS-53571- School Choice: Adjust Accept Application Logic for Parent Portal

This update improves the School Choice acceptance process by ensuring students can only accept one program per school year. When a parent accepts an offered program, any remaining choices for that application cycle are automatically set to cancelled, even when the existing "Don't Cancel Alternate Choices" preference is enabled. This prevents multiple acceptances and keeps enrollment outcomes clear and consistent.

FOCUS-53506- Parent Portal: Parent Report Card Acknowledgement Enforcement

This update improves how published report cards behave when parent acknowledgement is required. Parents can no longer access report cards by clicking portal alerts until the acknowledgement is completed, ensuring acknowledgements are properly collected before reports are viewable. Once the acknowledgement is submitted, alerts clear automatically and report cards become accessible as expected.

FOCUS-53454- Communication Platform: Add Second School Exclusion Enhancement

This update adds an optional "Exclude Secondary School Enrollments" checkbox to the Communication Compose screen, allowing users to limit recipients to students with primary enrollments only. Visibility of this option is controlled by a new admin and teacher profile permission, and a new Default User Preference can be enabled to have the option turned on by default. When selected, communications will automatically exclude students who are enrolled at the selected school only as a secondary enrollment, while existing behavior remains unchanged when the option is not used.

FOCUS-53132- Run Scheduler: Ignore Alternate Requests Scheduler Option

This update adds a new option to the Run Scheduler called Ignore Alternate Requests. When enabled, the system will skip alternate course requests and only attempt to place students into their primary requested courses, leaving alternates unscheduled. When the option is not selected, scheduling behavior remains unchanged and alternate requests may still be used to fill schedules as needed.

FOCUS-53123- Attendance Chart: Changed Daily Attendance Chart To Display Non Meeting Days

This update aligns the Daily view of the Attendance Chart with the same calculation rules used in the chart's period-level breakdown. Previously, Daily attendance displayed "?" and assumed the student was present on days when the student did not have school or did not meet, while the period-level chart correctly showed "-" for non-school or non-meeting days. With this improvement, the Daily row now follows the same logic as the breakdown, displaying "-" when the student is not enrolled or when school or the class does not meet on that date.

FOCUS-52344- New Online App: New Cancel Option Added to Unprocessed Applications

This update adds a Cancel option to the gear menu on the Unprocessed Applications screen in the New Online Application workflow. Administrators can now cancel an unprocessed application directly from this list, using the same behavior already available in the parent-facing view, improving consistency and streamlining application management.

Enhanced the Communication Breakdown report with multi-school reporting, standalone menu access, and a new profile permission for greater control and visibility. Administrators can access the report under the Students menu, while teachers see it under Reports. This update provides more detailed communication tracking across schools, including accurate delivery status and message type reporting.

This update enhances Single Sign-On configuration for SAML by displaying certificate expiration dates directly on the setup screen. When multiple certificates are present, the system automatically references the one with the earliest expiration date to ensure reliable authentication.

FOCUS-51827- SSS Custom Fields Edit Rules Support Added

This update extends Edit Rules and Workflow functionality to SSS custom screen fields, allowing validations, linked field behavior, and SQL actions to be applied directly within SSS event steps. Administrators can now configure rules against SSS event step instance fields, see validation status directly on SSS forms, and ensure required fields and business logic are enforced consistently. The update also improves related rendering and processing behavior so linked fields, validations, and rich-text placeholders function correctly across viewing, saving, and printing.

FOCUS-49187- SSS: Custom Field Screen Add Profile Permissions to All Field Types

This update improves permission handling for SSS custom screen fields by aligning them with the same profile-based permission model used for SIS student fields. New SSS custom fields now automatically assign view and edit access to eligible admin and teacher profiles, and view-only access to eligible parent profiles, based on existing SSS event permissions.

FOCUS-54184- Exempt Basic Skills Codes 'Exempt' Population Improvement

This update improves how Basic Skills exemption codes are displayed on CTE transcripts for postsecondary organizations. All exemption codes, including R and other exempt indicators, now correctly display as "Exempt" on the student's CTE transcript, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting.

FOCUS-54155- Postsecondary Transcripts: Program Certificate Award Order Improvement

This update improves how Program Certificate Awards are selected for postsecondary transcripts by ensuring consistent and accurate results. Passing certificate outcomes are now prioritized when determining which award appears, eliminating variability caused by unordered results and ensuring transcripts reflect the most relevant completion status.

FOCUS-54078- Change Total Clock Hours CTE Field

This update adjusts the Total Clock Hours field for CTE programs to display the cumulative sum of clock hours earned across all grades in the program. Instead of showing only the maximum hours from a single grade, the field now reflects total hours earned, providing a more accurate representation of student progress within the program.

FOCUS-53787- COE Report: Grad Completer with OCP & Allowable Subtractions

This update improves the COE Report for postsecondary sites using the "Use Any OCP" setting. Students who earned an OCP now correctly appear on the report even if another schedule record contains a completion code marked as a COE exclusion, ensuring reporting reflects earned credentials accurately.

FOCUS-53130- Postsecondary Waitlist Program & Course Filtering

This update improves the Postsecondary Waitlist workflow by ensuring that course and section selections correctly respect the program chosen. After selecting a program, the available courses and subsequent sections are now properly filtered to match that program, providing more accurate results when reviewing rank and open seats.
