Corrected Processing for Imputed Income Adjustments

We have resolved an issue where the specific wage adjustment code designed to modify imputed income wages was not functioning correctly.

Setup > District Codes > Adjustments

With this fix, imputed income wages will flow to the Federal Taxes, Social Security, and Medicare wages properly.

Feature Update: Online Applications Visibility

We have improved the visibility of the General Application category within the Human Resources module. This update ensures that the system correctly displays application data based on specific user permissions.

• What's New: Employees with the required permissions can now view the "General Application" category directly on the Employee Page.
• Benefit: Provides authorized staff and HR administrators with streamlined access to candidate information and application history without navigating away from the employee profile.

FOCUS-53620- T&A | fix break editing

Fix: Employee Break Time Editing Enabled

A bug in the Time & Attendance interface has been fixed to allow employees to edit their break time duration. Users can now adjust their break time to any value (including 0) to ensure accurate reporting before their timecard is sent for approval.

FOCUS-53601- Payroll | W2 Adjustments > New "FLSA OT" Column

System enhancement in W2 Reporting > Adjustment

There is a new "FLSA OT" column in the adjustments tab for W2 reporting, and its value maps to box 14.

FOCUS-53530- Change 'Applications' to 'Applications & Forms' and Remove 'Application(s)' from New App Summary Page Prompts

This update improves the wording used across New Apps. The menu and page title have been updated to "Applications & Forms," and references to the word "Applications" have been removed from the Required, Available, and Completed sections to provide clearer, more consistent language across student, parent, teacher, and applicant portals.

FOCUS-53209- List Output: Resolve Excel Export Issue

This update improves how CSV files are exported from List Output tables, such as Advanced Reports, to ensure characters display correctly when opened in Excel. Exported CSVs now include a UTF-8 byte order mark, allowing Excel to properly recognize the file encoding.

FOCUS-53180- T&A | Approve Current Period Timeframe

The T&A system setting "Allow approval of current period" has been enhanced to disable the approval button for the entirety of the current pay period. This replaces the previous logic that only restricted approvals during the first five days, providing better protection against premature timecard submissions.

FOCUS-52975 - T&A | Allow backdating in HR > Jobs with Timecards; Add Mass Insert Timecard feature

There are two distinct changes in this JIRA:

• Job Back-Dating Improvement: The system now allows you to back-date records in HR > Jobs even when timecards already exist. Orphaned timecards are programmatically reassigned, if possible, to any new assignments.  A District Report (Go to ERP > Reports > District Reports > Audit Reports. "Orphaned records appeared on the report") is available to identify any orphaned records that require manual adjustment to complete the process.  
• Mass Insert Timecards: A new bulk-entry tool is available (via profile permission) to add timecards en masse by pay type. This feature includes the ability to edit or reverse the mass-inserted records if corrections are needed.
  • There is a new profile permission - "Mass Insert Time" that will need to be given.
    • Profile > Setup > Human Resources > Time & Attendance Approval > Mass Insert Time
  • ERP > Human Resources > Time & Attendance Approval
    • See new button "Mass Add Time" in T&A Approvals.

FOCUS-53707- Gradebook Reports: Complete Gradebook Audit Trail with Combined Sections

This update improves the Gradebook Audit Trail so that all grade changes are accurately recorded when teachers use the "Combine Sections for Gradebook" preference. Grade updates made across combined sections now consistently appear in the audit trail.

FOCUS-53673- New Hide Reschedule Button Preference for Teacher Schedule Report

This update introduces a new scheduling preference that allows districts to hide the Reschedule button on the Teacher Schedule Report. When the "Hide Reschedule button from Teacher Schedule Report" preference is enabled, the Reschedule option no longer appears after sections are moved between periods.

FOCUS-53661- Hall Pass > Remove Student Ability to Cancel Approved Passes

Students can now cancel a hall pass request only until it is approved. Once a pass has been approved, the option for students to cancel it is removed. After approval, only a teacher or administrator may cancel the pass on the student's behalf, ensuring greater oversight and accuracy in active hall passes.

FOCUS-53627- Grad. Req. Report: New Fine Arts Waivers (1500441/1500442) Logic Updated

This update improves how Fine Arts waivers are evaluated on the Graduation Requirements Report for Florida. The new Fine Arts waiver codes now apply consistently without requiring the course to have Affects GPA enabled, aligning their behavior with other waiver types and ensuring eligible courses are correctly recognized in graduation calculations.

FOCUS-53618- Mobile App: Virtual ID Badge School Display Corrected

This update improves how the Mobile App determines the school shown on a student's Virtual ID Badge when multiple enrollment records exist for the same school year.

FOCUS-53567- Improve File Exports

This update improves how exported files such as CSV, Excel, and PDF are delivered. The system now prevents background output from interfering with downloads, ensuring exported files arrive clean and intact.

FOCUS-53525- Grad. Req. Report: Waivers with Custom List of Courses

This update resolves an issue where certain waiver courses were not displaying correctly when custom course lists were used in Graduation Requirements.

FOCUS-53497- Seating Charts: Fix to New Chart Allowing Linkage to Prior Course Periods

This update improves seating chart setup by limiting the list of selectable course periods to those in active or future marking periods.

FOCUS-53496- Enhance 'Address & Contacts: Copy From Linked Students' to Display Source Student Names

This update improves the Copy From Linked Students experience by clearly showing which student record an address or contact was copied from. When copying data from linked siblings, the system now displays the name of the source student directly on the address or contact card, providing better clarity before the information is applied. If the same data exists across multiple siblings, it is consolidated into a single option with all relevant student names shown, reducing duplication while improving transparency.

This update enhances the District Reports list view by adding audit-related columns that display who created and last updated each report, along with the corresponding dates. These new columns provide clearer visibility into report ownership and change history directly within the user interface.

FOCUS-53368- FAST Report - Show Survey 2 Match column if Survey 3 hasn't passed

This update improves the FAST Report by adjusting how the Survey Match column displays before Survey 3 data is available. When Survey 3 has not yet been imported, the column now appears as "Survey 2 Match" and shows checkmarks for students with Survey 2 data. Once Survey 3 data exists, the column reverts to "Survey 2/3 Match" and only displays checkmarks for students with data in both surveys.

FOCUS-53348- Corrected Display of Removed Contacts in Student Tooltip

This update ensures the student tooltip no longer displays contacts that have been removed from the student's Addresses & Contacts tab. Previously, deleted or unlinked contacts could still appear in the hover tooltip even though they were no longer associated with the student.

FOCUS-53342 - Scheduling: Grade Level Added to Students with Inclusion Report

This update enhances the Students With Inclusion report by adding a Grade Level column, displayed alongside Student ID for clearer context when reviewing included students.

FOCUS-53306- Document Management: Include Student Number in Exported Document File Names

This update improves Document Management exports by prepending the student or user ID to file names when exporting from the Uploaded Documents tab. Individual PDF exports, combined PDF exports, and ZIP exports now clearly include the associated ID in the file name, with all files inside ZIPs following the same convention. This enhancement makes exported files easier to identify, organize, and audit while preserving existing redaction behavior.

FOCUS-53280- Teacher Gradebook Usage: Resolve Display Teachers Using FY or SEM Gradebooks

This update corrects an issue where teachers using a non-default gradebook configuration (such as Semester or Full Year) appeared with zero assignments on the Teacher Gradebook Usage report. The report now accurately counts assignments regardless of the gradebook method selected, ensuring reliable visibility into teacher gradebook activity.

FOCUS-53223- Communication: Link to Uploaded Images in SMS Messages

This update enhances SMS messaging by allowing users to paste, upload, or drag and drop images directly into the SMS compose editor. Images are automatically uploaded and replaced with a secure short link, which is inserted into the message text and counted toward the SMS character limit.

FOCUS-53211- Advanced Report: Add Permission Check for Section Fields

This update corrects an issue in Advanced Reports where users could see all Section Fields even if they did not have permission to view them. With this improvement, Advanced Reports now correctly limits visible Section Fields based on the user's assigned profile or individual permissions. Users will only see section-level data they are authorized to access, while system administrators retain full visibility.

FOCUS-53027- Online Enrollments: Totals Respect School-Level Permissions

This update improves the Totals tab in Online Enrollments so that columns only appear when the user has View permission for that tab at one or more schools. Columns are now removed entirely if the user lacks permission across all schools, rather than displaying as empty.

FOCUS-52919- Attendance: Improve Hours Possible Calculation on ADA Report

This update corrects how the Hours Possible column is calculated on the Average Daily Attendance report. Previously, days with no recorded attendance did not contribute to Hours Possible, resulting in understated totals. The system now treats days without attendance entries as having a default value of one possible hour, ensuring those days are included and the Hours Possible calculation reflects an accurate attendance baseline.

FOCUS-52909- Application Editor: Student Form Publishing Enhancements (New Apps)

This update refines Student Form Publishing for New Apps by simplifying and clarifying publishing options. The "Expires on End Date" and "Previous Enrollment" settings have been removed, and "Do Not Require Approval" has been renamed to "Approve Automatically" with updated guidance. When a form is marked as a New Enrollment Application, related publishing settings are now automatically set and locked to ensure consistent processing.

FOCUS-52793- Attendance: Improved Daily Attendance Calculation for Multi-School Enrollments

This update corrects Daily Attendance processing for students who are enrolled in more than one school but receive all of their attendance records at a secondary campus. The Daily Attendance calculation now updates the student's primary school attendance correctly, rather than restricting updates to the school where attendance was taken. This ensures that Daily Attendance totals remain accurate and consistent across both primary and secondary enrollments.

FOCUS-52770- Positive Behaviors: New Option to Not Show in Communication

This update adds a Message checkbox to Positive Behavior setup, allowing organizations to control whether awarding a positive behavior sends an inbox message to parents. The option is available only when the Communication Platform Call Out module is enabled and applies to all awards of that behavior, giving districts clear control over when positive behavior notifications appear.

FOCUS-52504- Schedule: Expand Schedule Field Permission Options (Term, Start/End Date, Days)

This update improves scheduling security for districts using the system preference Use Schedule Field Permissions. The Schedule fields for Term, Meeting Days, Start Date, and End Date now respect individual schedule-level permissions instead of being hardcoded.

FOCUS-52282- Custom Fields: Log Fields Fixed Left Column Behavior Update

Improved the Fixed Left functionality for log columns so that all columns to the left of a fixed column are now automatically fixed as well. Previously, only individually marked columns were frozen, which could create blank spaces or misalignment when scrolling. This update ensures smooth, contiguous behavior and consistent column alignment across all logging field views.

FOCUS-52030- Communication Platform Send to Excluded Schools Permission

Added a new permission for Admin profiles called "Send Messages to Excluded Schools." When enabled, administrators can send messages and create announcements for all schools they have access to, including those marked as excluded from communication. Admins without this permission will only see schools not excluded. This update provides districts with greater flexibility in controlling communication access for administrative staff.

FOCUS-51337- Add a Student: Student Search Partial & Punctuation Match Enhancement

Enhanced the Add a Student, Student Search functionality to improve match accuracy and flexibility. The system now ignores punctuation and supports bidirectional partial matching--allowing searches for shorter or longer names to return relevant results. For example, searching "Bobby" now returns results for "Bob," searching "Jr." matches "Jr", and "Susanna" matches "Susan." Hyphenated and spaced names like "Anne-Marie" now correctly match "Anne Marie" or "AnneMarie." These updates make it easier to locate existing students regardless of punctuation, spacing, or name length variations, while maintaining performance and relevance scoring.
