FOCUS-59555- Warehouse | Add Modified Sales Price override for Warehouse PO Cost via Catalog
ERP | Warehouse - Modified Sales Price for Warehouse Purchase Orders
A new Modified Sales Price field has been added to the Warehouse Catalog, giving districts the ability to override the system-calculated price on Warehouse Purchase Orders.
- A Modified Sales Price column is now available in the Warehouse Catalog (between Price and Extended Cost), allowing a custom price to be set per item.
- When a Modified Sales Price is configured, Warehouse Purchase Orders will use that price instead of the system-calculated price.
- Upon Warehouse Order completion, the system automatically generates an additional Warehouse Order Completed journal to account for the difference between the Modified Sales Price and the calculated/system price, posted using the Warehouse Type accounting strip.
- The Warehouse Transaction Log continues to display the original calculated/system price -- no change to historical transaction records.
- Items without a Modified Sales Price are unaffected; existing Warehouse Purchase Order functionality remains unchanged.
See Warehouse > Catalog > Viewing an Item, Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Purchase Requests/Orders > Creating a Purchase Request/Order > The Line Items Section for Warehouse and Stock Warehouse POs, and Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Internal Purchase Requests/Orders > Creating an Internal Purchase Request/Order > The Line Items Section for Warehouse and Stock Warehouse POs for more information.
FOCUS-59553- Budgeting/General Ledger | Add Toggle Columns to Income Statement
The Income Statement report in the General Ledger module now supports toggle columns functionality, allowing users to show or hide columns directly within the report.
See Income Statement > Additional Features for more information.
FOCUS-59457- Enable Signature Column Type for Log Fields on Student, User, School, and Discipline Referral Custom Fields
Signature is now available as a column type when adding columns to logging fields on Student, User, School, and Discipline Referral custom fields. Note that signature logging fields are not supported on Student Enrollment forms in the Legacy App or on Legacy Forms in the New App. Additionally, in the New App, when a form containing a signature logging field is configured to commit changes when approved, the signature may not appear when viewing pending changes.
See Fields > Logging Fields, Job Posting Setup, and Applicant Tracking > Set Up for more information.
FOCUS-59544- T&A | Add created by / time
Time & Attendance records now display who created the record and when it was created. This improves auditing visibility for managers and timekeepers by showing the originator of each clock-in record directly in the T&A interface -- making it easier to trace where entries came from (employee self-punch, timekeeper manual entry, etc.) without needing database access.
FOCUS-59518- Position Control| Per-Row "Apply to Staff Positions" Button in Allocations Tab
A new "Apply" button has been added to each individual row within the Position Control > Allocations table. This enhancement allows users to trigger the "Apply to Staff Positions" action for a specific position directly from its row, providing a more targeted alternative to the existing bulk application button.
See HR > Position Control > Allocations > Editing & Deleting Allocations for more information.
FOCUS-59498- T&A| Add "Include Inactive" employee checkbox to Approval, Timekeeper Report, and Approval History
The Time & Attendance Approval page now includes an Include Inactive checkbox next to the employee selector on the Timecard Approvals, Timekeeper Report, and Approval History tabs. When unchecked, the employee list displays only active employees, which remains the default behavior. When checked, the list also includes employees who were terminated or whose position ended within the current fiscal year, making it possible to locate and review historical timecards for those employees. The checkbox state is tracked independently per tab. Existing permission rules remain in effect, and the Add Timecard modal continues to show active employees only.
See Time & Attendance Approval for additional information.
FOCUS-59434- T&A | show codes only on Assign T&A summary
The Assign Time & Attendance summary screen in School/Department Payroll Entry now includes a Show Codes Only checkbox on the toolbar. When enabled, the Pay Type, Facility, and account strip columns display short codes and abbreviations rather than the full code-and-description format. A new district-wide default for this setting is available in Time & Attendance Setup, and individual users can override that default directly from the toolbar. If the district default is not configured, the checkbox reflects each user's saved preference.
See Time & Attendance Setup > Settings and School/Department Payroll Entry > Assigning Time & Attendance for more details.
FOCUS-59182 - Payroll | Accounting Strip Exclusions for Substitute and Miscellaneous Pay
Payroll now supports accounting strip exclusions specifically for substitute and miscellaneous pay processing. This feature allows administrators to restrict specific funding strips from being used within certain cost centers, ensuring that projects that do not carry substitute funding are not accidentally charged.
Setup Required
Path: ERP → Setup → Settings → Payroll
- Locate the new "Exclude Strips Having" configuration section.
- Use the dropdown in the "For" field to select the pay type (e.g., Misc Pay, Subs).
- Configure the specific accounting strip elements (e.g., Project, Fund, or Cost Center) that should be restricted.
- Save the settings to apply the restrictions globally or to specific cost centers.
See Settings > Payroll tab > School/Dept Payroll Entry section for more details.
FOCUS-59005- Payroll > Employee Wages : Encumbrance > Add Encumber Vacancies Option
Payroll now supports encumbering vacant positions directly from the Employee Wages Encumbrance tab. When the "Create Encumbrance for Vacant Positions" preference is enabled under ERP Settings, the encumbrance process will include vacant positions in the encumbered totals. Previously, encumbrances for vacancies were only generated through the Run Payroll process at the time payroll was posted. This preference is disabled by default, and existing encumbrance behavior is unchanged unless it is turned on.
ERP>Settings>Payroll>Under Encumbrance category, set "Create Encumbrance for Vacant Positions" setting to "Yes"
FOCUS-58661- Run Payroll > Retro Pay Allocation Override
Users can now manually override the allocation for a retro payment within the Wage Change Retro payroll run. When an allocation override is entered and saved, it persists across sessions and is reflected in the retro pay comparison view. If no manual allocation is specified, the system falls back to the allocation defined on the employee's job.
See Run Payroll > Wage Retro Change for more information.
FOCUS-58197- Employee Jobs | Job Group Now Locked After Wages Are Paid
Added a safeguard that locks the Job Group value on an employee's job record once wages have been paid against it. Additionally, users are now prevented from deleting job position records that have associated paid wages. This ensures payroll data integrity and prevents accidental changes to records that have already been processed.
See HR > Employee > Jobs for more information.
FOCUS-59671- Hide Call Button for Non-Admin Users
In the Community mobile app, the Call button on student profiles is now visible to staff users only. Parents and other non-staff users will no longer see this button when viewing student information.
FOCUS-59615- District Reports, Multiple Label Datasets
District Reports now support custom result labels for each SQL query in a report. Adding a `-- TITLE:` comment on the line immediately above a query sets the label displayed above that query's results. Queries without a title comment continue to display the default Results heading, so existing reports are unaffected. The title comment is case-insensitive and does not appear as a column or otherwise alter the returned data.
See District Reports > Did You Know? for more information.
FOCUS-59587- Portal: Hide Dashboard Selector When Only One Dashboard Is Available
Enhances the Portal by simplifying dashboard navigation when only one dashboard is available. The dashboard selector is now displayed only when a user has access to multiple portal dashboards. If only a single dashboard is assigned, the selector is hidden, providing a cleaner and less cluttered Portal interface.
FOCUS-59579- Approve Grade Changes: New Alert for Requesting Teacher
Enhances the Teacher Portal by notifying teachers when their grade change requests have been reviewed.
After an administrator approves or denies a grade change request, the requesting teacher now receives a portal alert. Selecting the alert opens a read-only view of the processed requests, and teachers can dismiss the notification once it has been reviewed.
FOCUS-59534- Communication Platform: Allow Staff to Send Communication when Prior Year is Selected
Users can now initiate communications from the Student Info search results screen when viewing previous school years. The Communication button is available in historical years and opens a new message with Recipients pre-populated based on the current student list, applied filters, or search results. Once a subject and message body are entered, the Send and Schedule buttons are enabled and messages can be sent as expected. When viewing previous school years, the option to search by Groups and Schools in the Recipients field is not available, though individual students can still be added or removed. This change does not affect behavior when working in the current school year.
See Student Info > Did You Know? for more details.
FOCUS-59519- Unable to Enroll Out of County Student with No Active Enrollments
Resolves a situation where an out-of-county address alert could incorrectly block users from saving a new student enrollment even when the student's information was valid. Users with the appropriate enrollment permissions, or those acting under an approved override, can now complete the enrollment without being incorrectly prevented from saving.
FOCUS-59504- Run Scheduler: Adds New Permission for Study Hall Scheduler
Enhances Run Scheduler by adding a dedicated permission for the Study Hall Scheduler.
A new Study Hall Scheduler sub-permission is available under Users > Profiles > Menu > Scheduling > Run Scheduler, allowing administrators to control which profiles can access the Study Hall Scheduler. The permission is disabled by default and must be enabled for each profile that should have access.
See Profiles and Run Scheduler > Study Hall Scheduler for more information.
See Fields > Logging Fields for more information.
FOCUS-59453- Discipline: Referral Log Print Add Footer Support
Enhances Discipline Referral Logs by adding support for Letterhead Template footers.
When printing a Discipline Referral Log using a Letterhead Template with a configured footer, the footer is now included in the generated document. For reports containing multiple referrals, the footer is displayed at the end of the document, providing consistent formatting while preserving all referral content.
FOCUS-59443- Rollover: New Pre-K Promotion Age Requirement Setting
A new system preference, Must be 5 years old on mm/dd to roll from PK, has been added under Setup > System Preferences > Enrollment. The preference stores only a month and day. During Rollover, the system automatically applies that cutoff to the upcoming school year to determine eligibility for Kindergarten. Pre-K students who will not be 5 years old by that date remain in their current Pre-K grade level for the new school year, while students who are 5 on or before the cutoff date advance according to the normal rollover process. This behavior applies to both manual and scheduled rollover. If the preference is left blank, standard grade progression rules apply.
For example, if the cutoff is set to 08/25 and students are being rolled into the 2027-2028 school year, students must turn 5 by August 25, 2027 to advance to Kindergarten. Students whose fifth birthday falls after August 25, 2027 remain in Pre-K for the upcoming school year.
Note: For this feature to apply, the student's active enrollment must be associated with a Grade Level where the PK indicator is enabled (Setup > Grade Levels), and the enrollment's Rolling Retention Option must be configured as Next Grade at Current School. Students that do not meet these criteria are not evaluated by the PK age cutoff during rollover.
See System Preferences > Enrollment for more information.
FOCUS-59439- Focus Transfer: Translate Non-Standard Score Types During Test History Import (Florida)
During a Focus Transfer test history import, records from sending districts that use the "SEC" score type for state assessments now import correctly into the receiving district. These records are mapped to an Achievement Level on import, with "Below the Standard" converting to 1, "At/Near the Standard" converting to 2, and "Above the Standard" converting to 3. If a record already carries an Achievement Level value from the sending district, that value is used as-is. Previously, records with a "SEC" score type generated a warning and did not import.
FOCUS-59416- Signature Field Reuse Same Page/Category
Enhances Signature fields by allowing users to reuse a previously entered signature when multiple signature fields appear on the same page.
This enhancement is available throughout the user interface, including Student Info, User Info, and other information screens, as well as Application and Re-enrollment forms. After signing the first signature field, additional signature fields on the page provide the option to Use My Last Signature or Draw New Signature. For signature fields that require authentication, reused signatures must also be authenticated before they are applied.
FOCUS-59415- Ed-Fi: Update TN homelessPrimaryNighttimeResidenceDescriptor
Enhances the Ed-Fi integration for Tennessee by updating the mapping used for the Homeless Primary Nighttime Residence descriptor.
The Student Homeless Program Association extract now uses the student's Housing Status record to determine the Primary Nighttime Residence value, ensuring the appropriate Tennessee descriptor is reported in Ed-Fi. This change applies only to Tennessee and does not affect Ed-Fi reporting for other states.
FOCUS-59404- Apex - Automation Testing
Apex Assessment Studio has been updated with improvements to sharing, record access, authoring, and student delivery. Sharing groups now save, display their criteria correctly in the group list, and appear in sharing pickers across all record types. Shared records consistently enforce access boundaries: View-only sharing now hides write actions on all four record types, private child records remain restricted when only a parent is shared without Cascade Down -- including in preview and print views -- and item and question counts no longer reflect restricted descendants. Cascade Down correctly propagates the configured permission level to all descendants. Math questions now save correctly. File Upload questions now deliver the authored file-size and file-type limits to students. In the student players, multiple-choice selection limits are enforced on both Nimbus and Cambium, Match Table multi-select responses persist when navigating between questions on Cambium, Selectable Text single-selection mode works correctly on Cambium, Sticky Notes display and function correctly on Nimbus, and the My Assessment page loads correctly after a student completes an assigned assessment.
FOCUS-59361- Student Groups: Adds Include Inactive
The Student Groups page now hides inactive groups by default. An Include Inactive checkbox is available to display inactive groups alongside active ones when needed.
See Student Groups (Admin) > Viewing Inactive Student Groups, and Student Groups (Teacher) > Viewing Inactive Student Groups for more information.
FOCUS-59321- Ed-Fi: Update TN Staff Classification Descriptor
For Tennessee districts, the Staff Classification Descriptor in Ed-Fi now pulls from the Staff Member Current Assignment log field, using the option code for the classification descriptor and the option label for the position title. This change applies to Tennessee districts only and does not affect other districts.
FOCUS-59306- Attendance Cards | Attendance Code for Late Check-Ins and Early Releases
Enhances attendance details by displaying the associated Attendance Code for Late Check-In and Early Release records.
The Attendance Code is now included when viewing Late Check-In and Early Release details from the Absence Summary, Attendance Chart, Attendance Calendar, and Student Summary. This provides additional context for each attendance entry, making it easier to review how individual late arrivals and early departures were recorded.
FOCUS-59300- Student Schedule: Planner View Now Uses Attendance Calendar Bell Schedule
The Student Schedule Planner view now correctly displays schedule information when an effective date is selected. Previously, the Planner could appear blank depending on how bell schedules were configured. The view now prioritizes the bell schedule associated with the attendance calendar for the selected date and falls back to the course period's bell schedule when no calendar-specific value is assigned, ensuring schedules load and display as expected.
FOCUS-59259- Communication: Add School Choice Fields to Insert Fields
School Choice Communication Insert Fields Expanded
The School Choice section in Communication Insert Fields now supports separate field sets for each application type -- Choice, Magnet, and SPA -- for both the current year and next year. Each combination includes fields for submission details, submitter name and email, accepted program and school, and status tables for pending, waitlisted, and declined applications. Individual waitlisted and declined school fields are also available, with the number of fields determined by the program's configured selection count. This section is available to users with School Choice access when mail merge is enabled.
FOCUS-59253- Graduation Req. Report: Changes to the 26/27 PE/Fine Arts Waiver Option (FL)
The Graduation Requirements Report updates the Marching Band PE / Performing Fine Arts Waiver for Florida to reflect the AND logic required by House Bill 453. Students who complete two years of marching band may now satisfy both the Physical Education and Performing Arts requirements simultaneously. When neither requirement is met, the waiver applies to both; when only one remains unsatisfied, the waiver applies to that subject only. If a student has a partial PE activity credit, the waiver applies to Performing Arts only, as PE still requires HOPE. No waiver is applied when either band course is missing or when both requirements are already satisfied. Dance and Sports waiver functionality is unchanged.
FOCUS-59242- Communication Platform: Improve Parent Digest Logic
Improves Communication Settings by displaying eligible students in a parent's Digest preferences before the school year begins.
Parents can now configure digest settings for students whose enrollment begins on the first day of the upcoming school year, even before that school year has started. This allows communication preferences to be configured in advance, ensuring digest options are available as soon as the new school year begins.
FOCUS-59211- Query Performance Optimization -- CommunicationQueueCronJob
The Communication Queue cron job now processes and sends messages more efficiently, with improved handling that prevents archived records from being inadvertently picked up for reprocessing or having their attempt counters incremented. Performance improvements reduce processing time for both batch sending and batch processing, and the system is better positioned to maintain consistent delivery speeds as the volume of archived communication history grows over time.
FOCUS-59081- Discipline: Referral Log Most Recent Sort Order Option
The Discipline Referral Log report now includes a sort order option in the Options section, allowing users to generate the PDF with referrals sorted either Oldest to Newest or Newest to Oldest. The field defaults to Oldest to Newest, preserving existing behavior for users who do not make a selection.
See Referral Log for more information.
FOCUS-58890- Graduation Rate Report: Rename "Met Grad Requirements" to "Credit Requirement Met"
The Graduation Rate Report renames the "Met Grad Requirements" column to "Credit Requirement Met" to more accurately reflect that the column indicates whether a student has met credit requirements specifically, rather than all graduation requirements.
See Graduation Rate Report for more information.
FOCUS-58422- Student Schedule Adjust Screen: Adds Delete Support
Enhances the Student Schedule Adjust view by allowing users to remove scheduled courses without leaving the adjust workflow.
Users can now delete individual eligible schedule entries or use a new Delete All option to remove all eligible courses at once. Before changes are saved, a confirmation dialog summarizes all schedule additions, updates, and deletions, and the schedule refreshes automatically after saving so outstanding course requests can be reviewed and scheduled immediately.
See Student Schedule > Using the Adjust Screen (New Student Schedule) and Using the Adjust Screen (Legacy Student Schedule) for more information.
FOCUS-57850- Grades Analytics Display Enhancements
Enhances Grades Analytics with additional display options, improved consistency across analytics views, and updated state-specific reporting.
Users can now choose to display Numbers, Percentages, or both on analytics charts, providing greater flexibility when reviewing data. This update also standardizes demographic labels across analytics screens, resets display options when changing comparison views to ensure accurate results, and updates Washington Lunch Status reporting to respect effective dates. Additionally, demographic charts now display more consistently when data is available, improving the overall analytics experience.
See Grades Analytics > Grade Distribution (Admin), and Grades Analytics > Grade Distribution (Teacher) for more details.
FOCUS-57680- Master Schedule Builder: Preserve Teacher & Room Assignments
In the Master Schedule Builder, running the builder no longer removes teacher and room information from sections that are identified with problems. The Problem column now displays the relevant issue description for affected sections, making it easier to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts without needing to re-enter section data.
FOCUS-56537- Communication: Translate Long Text Custom Fields
Enhances Communication by extending translation support to Long Text custom fields included in communication templates.
When a communication is translated into a recipient's preferred language, Long Text custom field values are now translated along with the rest of the message. This includes supported long text fields used in templates, providing a more complete and consistent translated communication experience.
FOCUS-50608- Hall Pass: Ability to Manually Activate Upcoming Hall Passes
A new system preference, "Schedule pass activation grace period (minutes)," has been added to the Hall Pass module. When configured, scheduled passes no longer activate automatically at their scheduled time; instead, administrators, teachers, and students with the Activate Scheduled Hall Pass profile permission can manually activate a scheduled pass within the defined window before or after the scheduled start time. If a scheduled pass is not activated within the grace period, it is automatically cancelled. This activation option is also available through the Hall Pass Classroom kiosk, where students with an upcoming scheduled pass within the grace period are prompted to activate their scheduled pass or proceed to create a new one. Existing pass creation restrictions based on period start and end times continue to apply within the activation window. This feature requires the system preference to be configured and the appropriate profile permission to be granted.
See System Preferences, Hall Pass Setup, Hall Passes (Admin), Hall Passes (Teacher), Hall Passes on the Kiosk and Mobile App (Admin), and Hall Passes on the Kiosk for Teachers (Teacher) for more information.
FOCUS-59601- New Application Editor > Uploaded files never create change requests (missing from Review Changes) on commit_changes forms
Documents uploaded through enrollment and application forms configured with Commit Changes set to "Approved" now appear individually in the Review Changes screen, allowing staff to review and approve or deny each uploaded file before it is applied to the student record.
FOCUS-59597- Online Enrollment School Year Recovery (New Apps)
Enhances New Online Forms by allowing administrators to identify and correct forms submitted under the wrong school year.
The school year associated with each form is now displayed in Student Info > Applications & Forms, making it easier to identify school year mismatches. Administrators can also move eligible forms to the active school year directly from the Unprocessed page, restoring them to the standard processing workflow without requiring support assistance.
See New Application Editor and Online Enrollments for Students for more information.
FOCUS-59506- Add "Require Transfer Form For Out Of Zone Address Changes in Returning Student Guided Address" System Preference
A new system preference, Require Transfer Form For Out Of Zone Address Changes in Returning Student Guided Address, is available under Setup > System Preferences > Default Schools > Online Application. When enabled and a transfer form is selected, the system automatically assigns that form as a required request when a parent completes a re-enrollment form containing the Returning Student Guided Address field and updates their address to one zoned for a different school. This assignment occurs only for students whose current school uses zoning. If the student's current school does not use zoning, or the updated address remains zoned for the student's current school, no transfer form is assigned.
See System Preferences > Online Application and New Application Editor and Online Enrollments for Students for more information.
FOCUS-59463- New Student Enrollment Form Visibility Resolved
When a parent starts a New Student Enrollment application for a previously withdrawn student, the in-progress form now correctly appears in the Applications & Forms list so the parent can return to complete and submit it.
FOCUS-59460- Online Enrollments: Improve Send Back Functionality
Improves New Online Applications by restoring the ability for authorized users to send applications back to applicants for corrections.
Users with the appropriate Send Back permission can once again return unprocessed applications with comments, allowing applicants to update and resubmit their information. This restores the intended review workflow while continuing to respect existing Online Enrollment permissions.
FOCUS-59312- Applications & Forms View Form Access
Restores the View Form option in the Applications & Forms section of Student Info.
Authorized users can once again open completed applications and forms directly from a student's record by selecting View Form. This restores access to submitted forms while continuing to respect existing profile and field-level permissions.
FOCUS-57028- Parent Portal: Remove School Year from Applications
Updates the Applications & Forms screen in the Parent and Student Portal to simplify how school years are displayed. The School Year column is now hidden from the Available, Unavailable, and Required application/form tables.
See Applications & Forms (Parent/Student) and New Application Editor and Online Enrollments for Students for more information.
FOCUS-59359- HCPS - SSS CFS - Alignment issues in SSS printing
When printing events in SSS that include rich text placeholders on custom screen setup categories, text alignment in the printed output now matches the alignment configured on the form. Previously, multi-line rich text content would appear center-justified when printed regardless of the original formatting. Left, center, and right alignment are all respected in the printed preview and output.
FOCUS-59180- SSS CFS: Add "Minimum Required" rows setting for Log Field type custom fields
Custom Fields Setup now supports a Minimum Required setting for Select Multiple fields within Log Field types, matching the behavior already available for other custom field types. When this option is configured and the Required toggle is enabled, users must select at least the specified number of options before saving; a validation message displays if the minimum is not met. If no minimum is set or the Required toggle is off, existing behavior is unchanged.
