Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)

Select Import Settings

  1. Navigate to Imports in the Setup menu, then start the process by uploading your file.
  2. While in the File Format step, reference the Preview section to make your selections.
  3. If the uploaded data does not contain a header row, uncheck the box.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Select Tool step, click the Import File card to enter the import settings:
    • Select the Test History import tool option.
    • Select the desired Import Method.
    • Select the appropriate TABE test from the Standardized Test pull-down, or leave blank.
    • Select the Parse File check box and then select one of the following options from the pull-down:
      • Florida
        • Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) 11&12 (TAB) - Effective Fall 2018
    • In the Scores Layout pull-down, change the option to Standard.
    • Click Continue.

Run Student Match

Once back in the Select Tool step:

  1. Click Student Match:
  2. Map the required fields: First Name, Last Name, Birth Date and Birth Date format. Mapping the School is optional.
  3. Click Run.
  4. When applicable, manually search and assign Student IDs to all remaining unmatched student records and click Continue.

Map Fields and Validate

Once back in the Select Tool step:

  1. Click Next.
  2. In the Mapping Template step:
    • Choose an existing template, or
    • Manually map the available fields.
  3. Click the Validate button.
  4. Check the validation results and review errors, if any.
  5. To complete the process, click Import.

If the Standard score layout was chosen, all the fields will be mapped automatically.
