The information provided in this document can be referenced to import the Ohios State Tests & End-of-Course results (OST), the Alternate Assessments for Students with the Most Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD), the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA), the Ohio English Language Proficiency Screener (OELPS), and the Alternate Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (Alt-OELPA) test scores.

Import Settings
Navigate to Imports in the Setup menu, then start the process by uploading your file.
- While in the File Format step, reference the Preview section to make your selections.
- If the selected format is Comma-delimited, click Next and continue to step 2.
- When working with a fixed-width file format:
- Click the Field Positions button.
- In the Template pull-down, select the Ohio's State Tests - Student Results File Converter - Effective Fall 2024 option.
- Click Continue.
- If the uploaded data does not contain a header row, uncheck the box.
- Click Next.
- In the Select Tool step click the Import File card to enter the import settings:
- Select the Test History import tool option.
- Select the desired Import Method.
- For the Standardized Test pull-down:
- When the file only contains scores for one specific test, select the appropriate standardized test option.
- When the file contains scores for multiple tests, or the file contains End-of-Course scores, leave this option blank.
- Select the Parse File check box and select one of the available Ohio's State Test options from the pull-down:
- Grades 3-8 Alternate (GA) Assessment (AASCD)
- High School Alternate (GX) Assessment (AASCD)
- Ohio's State Tests (GN)
- End of Course (EOC) Tests (GE)
- Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA) (GF)
- Alternate Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (Alt-OELPA) (GFA)
- Ohio English Language Proficiency Screener (OELPS) (GFS)
- In the Scores Layout option, change the option to Standard.
- In the Conversion Fields section:
- For the part_id conversion field, the short_name option should be selected.
- For the student_id conversion field, the Statewide Student Identifier (SSID) (custom_30000000) option should be selected.
- For the test_id conversion field and if no Standardized Test option was selected, the short_name option should be selected.
- Click Continue.
Map Fields and Validate
Once back in the Select Tool step:
- Click Next.
- In the Mapping Template step:
- Choose an existing template, or
- Manually map the available fields, or add default columns or override values, and save as a new custom template.
- Click the Validate button.
- Check the validation results and review errors, if any.
- To complete the process, click Import.
If the Standard score layout was chosen, all the fields will be mapped automatically.
