The Punchout Transaction Log provides a read-only record of transactions exchanged between Focus and punchout vendors throughout the purchase order lifecycle. Use this screen to review transaction details, troubleshoot errors, and locate transactions by fiscal year, date, catalog, vendor, purchase order, requisition, user, or status.
Punchout purchase requests are created via Purchasing/Accounts Payable > Purchase Requests/Orders. See Purchase Requests Orders > Punchout Purchase Request for more information.
To view the Punchout Transaction Log, users must have the View Punchout Transaction Log permission enabled via Setup > Profiles > Purchasing/Accounts Payable.
1. From the Purchasing/Accounts Payable menu, click Punchout Transaction Log.
2. Select the Fiscal Year to view.
3. To narrow the transactions displayed, enter or select any applicable search criteria:
- Enter a Transaction Date range in the From and To fields.
- Select a Catalog.
- Select a Vendor.
- Enter a full or partial purchase order number in the PO # field.
- Enter a full or partial requisition number in the Requisition # field.
- Select a User.
- Select a Status.
4. Click Apply Filters to display transactions matching the selected criteria.
Click Reset Criteria to clear the search criteria.
5. Review the transactions in the data table. The log displays the Timestamp, Direction, Transaction Type, Vendor, Purchase Order #, Requisition #, User, Status, HTTP Status, Error Message, and Raw Payload for each transaction.
Transaction types can include Punchout Setup Request, Punchout Setup Response, Punchout Order Message, Order Request, and Order Confirmation.
6. Click a linked Purchase Order # or Requisition #, when available, to open the associated record.
7. Click View Details in the Raw Payload column to view the data sent or received for the transaction. The transaction details can also include error messages and HTTP status information.
For security, the SharedSecret value in punchout setup transaction details is redacted except for the last four characters.
