The Inventory Adjustments screen allows for the addition or removal of inventory from the Warehouse. Adjustments handled here deal with corrections rather than item transfers.
1a. In ERP, in the Warehouse menu, click Inventory Adjustments.
1b. In SIS, in the Billing menu, click Inventory Adjustments.
The Inventory Adjustments defaults to the Drafts tab.
2. Select the Fiscal Year from the pull-down, if applicable.
3. Enter the adjustment Title in the provided text box.
4. Select the Type of adjustment from the pull-down.
5. Click Create.
6. Review the Journal Date and update it, if applicable.
The Journal Date must be within the selected Fiscal Year and an open fiscal period.
7. If the item should be added to the warehouse inventory, enter the item information in the Add Items section.
If the item should be removed from the warehouse inventory, enter the item information in the Remove Items section.
8. Select the Item from the corresponding pull-down in the applicable section.
9. Enter the number of Units in the provided text box.
The Average Unit Price and Total Price automatically calculate based on the Item selected and the number of Units entered.
The system permits zero-quantity lines in the inventory sheet, when applicable.
10. Enter any applicable Notes in the provided text box.
11. Press the Enter key to save the line of data.
12. Enter as many items as needed using the bottom row to input new information.
13. As indicated in the Files section, drag files directly into the box to attach documents or click the Select button to browse for files.
Click the Scan File button to download Dynamsoft, which allows you to attach files directly from your scanner. In doing so, you will bypass saving the file to your computer first.
14. To add a comment, type the comment in the provided text box. Then, click Post.
15. Click Submit.
If the Journal Date is outside the selected Fiscal Year or is not within an open fiscal period, an error displays and the inventory adjustment cannot be submitted until the date is corrected.
If you aren't ready to submit the adjustment, upon navigating away from this screen, the adjustment request saves automatically as a draft. See Inventory Adjustment Drafts for more information.
If an approval flow is set up for inventory adjustments, the submitted request will have a pending status. See Pending Approval for more information.

2. Select the Fiscal Year from the pull-down, if applicable.
3. From the Drafts tab, navigate to the Existing Drafts section.
The Existing Drafts section displays the Name, Type, and Create Date.
4. Click the delete button (red minus sign) to delete the draft.
5. Click the Name field to edit the name of the draft.
6. Click the Type pull-down to change the selection.
7. Click View to open, edit, and submit the inventory adjustment.

If you are a part of the Inventory Adjustment Request approval chain and responsible for reviewing and approving or denying requests, the Pending Approval tab displays with requests awaiting approval.
1. From the Warehouse menu, click Inventory Adjustments.
2. Select the Fiscal Year from the pull-down, if applicable.
3. Click the Pending Approval tab.
The Pending Approval tab displays the request Name, the Requester, the Request Date, and the Status of the request.
4. Hover over the approval Status with the mouse to display the Approval Chain set up by the district. The Approval Chain displays the user(s) responsible for reviewing the request and approving or denying the request. You should see your name displayed here.
A green check mark indicates an Approved status.
An hourglass indicates a Pending status.
A red X indicates a Denied status.
5. Click View to view the request via the View Inventory Adjustment Request tab.
6. If the request needs to be updated or changed by the requester, click Send Back to Originator to send the request back.
a. Enter a comment, then click Send.
7. Click Approve to approve the request or click Deny to deny the request.
8. The Show current pending check box is selected by default, which ensures only your pending requests display. Clear the selection to display pending requests for all users; i.e. other users part of the approval chain.
Once approved or denied, the request displays on the Approval History tab.
If you are a part of the Inventory Adjustments Requests approval chain and responsible for reviewing and approving or denying requests, the Pending Approval tab displays with requests awaiting approval; once approved or denied, you can review all inventory adjustment requests via the Approval History tab.

2. Click the Approval History tab.
The Approval History tab displays the Name, Requester, Request Date, Approved Date, and the Status of the request.
3. Hover over the approval Status with the mouse to display the Approval Chain set up by the district. The Approval Chain displays the user(s) responsible for reviewing the request and approving or denying the request. You should see your name displayed here.
A green check mark indicates an Approved status.
An hourglass indicates a Pending status.
A red X indicates a Denied status.
4. Click View to view the request via the View Adjustment tab.

2. Select the Fiscal Year from the pull-down, if applicable.
3. Click the Adjustment History tab.
The Adjustment History tab displays the Name of the adjustment, Adjustment Type, Created date and time, Adjustment Amount, Processed date and time, and the Requester.
4. Click View to open the inventory adjustment.
5. Click Print to download the file to your computer which can be saved for later or opened and printed.
Click the Excel icon in the Export section to export the table of data to an Excel spreadsheet, which can then be saved to your computer.
Click the Printer icon to print the table of data.
Click the Filters button to filter data and apply filter rules.
a. To add more than one filter to a column, click on the green plus sign.
b. To delete an added filter, click on the red minus sign.
c. Select the gray arrow for additional filtering rules.

Click on any of the headers to sort data. Click once for ascending results; click twice for descending results.
