The Truancy and Chronic Absenteeism Summary is used to review students considered at risk due to absences.
In Attendance > Attendance Setup > Codes tab, the "Include in Truancy Count" and "Include in Chronic Absenteeism Count" columns are used to mark attendance codes that should be considered for truancy and chronic absenteeism calculations.
1. In the Ohio Reports menu, click Truancy and Chronic Absenteeism Summary.

2. Select the Start Date of the report.
3. Select the End Date of the report.
4. Select All Schools to run the report for all schools in the district. Leave the check box unselected to run the report for the school you are currently logged in to.
5. Select Include Inactive to include inactive students on the report.
6. Adjust each of the absence hour thresholds as desired. The default values that are populated are set in Ohio Reports > Ohio Reports Setup > District Options. The maximums defined by HB410 are indicated in parentheses.
7. Click Generate Report.

The report is downloaded to your computer as a spreadsheet.
